Rule 1: Use rock salt in food
You should always use rock salt, also called pink Himalayan salt, in your food. It does not increase water retention and blood pressure in the body like white salt, so eating it does not have much of a bad effect on your health.
Rule 2: Drink three to four litres of water
You must drink three to four litres of water a day. By doing this, you will be protected from almost every type of stomach disease, you will never have kidney stones and harmful toxins will also be cleansed from the body.
Rule 3: Avoid white food products
Our 3rd rule is an extension of this rule and that is that you should avoid white things in food, white things like white sugar, white salt, white rice and white flour, all these. These things are full of calories and have very little fibre, hence eating them can make you suffer from obesity, and constipation and the body does not get too many nutrients from it. All these things cause harm.
Rule 4: Walk after dinner
You must walk at least 500 steps after having dinner at night. Research shows that walking after having dinner at night reduces your weight, does not produce gas and acidity and you also get good sleep.
Rule 5: One glass of lemon water daily
One glass of lemon water daily. Drinking lemon water will protect you from obesity and detox your body. Lemon is also a vibrant source of Vitamin C. So what does it do? Your immunity also increases and the weather changes. You also remain safe from various small and big diseases that arise at the time.
Rule 6: Never take tea or coffee on an empty stomach
You should never drink tea or coffee on an empty stomach in the morning. Drinking tea and coffee on an empty stomach causes more acid production in the stomach and reduces appetite. If you have to drink tea then always eat something light in the morning for breakfast and only then drink tea or coffee.
Rule 7: Drink water while sitting
You should always drink water while sitting and sip it and never drink it all at once or while standing. Another thing related to water that you should avoid is that you should never drink too cold water. If you make a habit of always using lukewarm water, then you will never suffer from any stomach disease. Your cholesterol will also be reduced, body detox will take place and obesity will start reducing. However, if it is summertime and you cannot take lukewarm water, you do not like it, then in such a situation you can take water of normal room temperature or you can use water from a pitcher.
Rule 8: Drink water at least 30 minutes after every meal
After eating food, you should drink water at least after half an hour. Drinking water immediately after eating food makes digestion weak weight also increases and your stomach also starts bloating.
Rule 9: Drink a glass of lukewarm water in the morning
After waking up in the morning, you must drink a glass of lukewarm water and as soon as you wake up in the morning, you must also splash cold water in your eyes. What happens by doing this is that your body gets detoxed and your eyesight also improves.
Rule 10: Use desi ghee and avoid using refined oil
You should never use refined oil for cooking, instead you should use cow’s desi ghee. Refined oil is made after a lot of chemical processing and it is very bad for your health. They are harmful. However, if you cannot afford cow’s ghee, then you can also use mustard oil coconut oil or unrefined sesame oil.
Rule 11: Eat colourful food
The more you eat, the more you should use colourful things as much as you can, that is, you have to make your food colourful and avoid whiteness. By including colourful vegetables and fruits in your food, you get a lot of vitamins, minerals and proteins which are beneficial for your health.
Rule 12: Never eat heavy food at night
You should never eat heavy food at night. By doing this, you will lose weight very fast. Increases in our metabolism slow down and the risk of diabetes, cholesterol and even heart attack increases.
Rule 13: Never eat rice, curd, and kidney beans at night
You should never eat curd, kidney beans and rice at dinner at night. According to Ayurveda, eating these things at night causes gas formation in the stomach, acidity and the problem of weight gain, hence you should avoid these things. If you have to eat then you should always eat during the day time.
Rule 14: Walk 10,000 steps every day
You must walk 10,000 steps every day. Set a target for this nowadays. We all have smartphones, so in every smartphone you will definitely find some such app that tracks your steps, so through these steps, you should keep in mind that you are walking at least 10,000 steps daily. In case, you are not able to walk that much in the beginning, then you have to walk at least 5 to 7000 steps in the beginning and gradually increase it to 10000 steps. This is a very good and easy exercise. What happens with it? The risk of many diseases like diabetes, obesity, blood pressure heart attack etc. reduces to a great extent.
Rule 15: Eat an apple every day
You must eat an apple every day. Everyone has heard this before, that an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Therefore, you must eat a whole apple every day.
Rule 16: Eat a big bowl of salad 30 minutes before lunch
You must eat a big bowl of salad half an hour before having lunch. Friends, eating salad is for health. It is very beneficial. You can eat it at any time of the day except at night, but if you eat salad half an hour before lunch, it gives you especially great benefits. What does this do to your sugar control? Obesity remains in the body and decreases. Energy increases and your digestion also improves.
